Crews cut and surveyed a new lift line on the backside of powder famed Whitewater near Nelson BC this week in preparation for the installation of a triple chairlift. The terrain is very exciting and the lift is large. Almost 2000 feet of vertical and a mile long! Keep your eyes on this one for great riding!

In January of 2010, Summit Lift Co was hired to assist Outdoor Engineers Inc to perform the Specialized Ropeway Consultancy for a project on the Sentosa Island of Singapore. The project consists of planning, purchasing and installing an 8 passenger monocable gondola and 15 passenger monocable reversible tramway for public transportation. The gondola moves people from the Merlion area to the Mt. Imbiah station near the Butterfly World, then over a jungle park to the Rasa Sentos beachside resort at Silosa Point. The tram transports people from the Silosa Point up to Fort Silosa historical site overlooking the ocean and island. The two lifts will compliment and replace bus systems. Project completion is set for December of 2011.
